Julia Goldani Telles

Photographer Irvin Rivera had his studio ready for a morning of fashion, glamour, and fun. For the new issue of A BOOK OF Magazine, Actress Julia Goldani Telles, arrived to give us something special. Together with hairstylist Ted Gibson, Julia allowed us to collaborate on some looks that channeled an array of characters. Julia currently plays the character of Whitney Solloway in The Affair, on Showtime.

The first look we decided to go for started with a favorite, Dior Show Blue mascara. I applied this on the top and bottom lashes in a sixty’s twiggy style, but we used the blue to give it a twist. Ted balanced out the look with a really chic blow out.

One of our next looks went more neutral with fall tones. We took on the colors of the season. I added Glossier’s new color slides pencil in ginger orange on the bottom lash line. The stylist gave her some great complementary clothes to go with this look.

The last look we went for was something really bold and striking. I built a look on top of the fall classic palette with a classic, Chanel. One of my favorite lipsticks to use when making a simple, yet bold statement is the Rouge Coco line, and this look was with the shade, Carmen. Adding red into a look definitely can transition this application from fall to any holiday.
